Raven Klaasen and Rajeev Ram Win Indian Wells Doubles

INDIAN WELLS, Calif – Raven Klassen and Rajeev Ram captured the men’s doubles final of the BNP Paribas Open over Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo on Saturday.

En route to the title win, Klaasen and Ram defeated Rafael Nadal and Bernard Tomic in the second round and Novak Djokovic and Viktor Troicki in the quarterfinals.

“When you think of one to win and how to win it, this is about as good as it gets,” said Klaasen. “To play two legends of the game that are still playing, Nadal and Djokovic, and then to go all the way to finish the trophy out is something that I will cherish for a long time.’

The duo is now headed to Miami where they will attempt to win the ‘Sunshine Double.’
